Today as we were sitting in the “Hard Rock” Cafe in the next village, population 350, it dawned on me that we did not need to concern ourselves with time spent waiting for food and wanting to get on to the next adventure. This was the first day ever we could simply relax. I felt the weight of time constraints slip off my shoulders. Cool. After sixty years of being obsessed with gotta do, gotta do…now we don’t have to do time…….now I feel retired. It’s rather refreshing!
Here is an entertaining kitten from the next village

Betsy, it’s so good to hear everything is going so well. I saw pix of the place. It is like a dream! Aren’t you two considering buying? Anyway, I enjoyed reading your posts! Thanks for the blog!

Amy, we don’t have any intention of buying any residence anywhere. We are just renting while he travels the world.

He’s asking $279,000. Interested on buying? This is much more remote than Catawba!
